Identify the formulation
Ask whether the offered material is an emulsion, prepared solution or another liquid form. Obtain the exact code, concentration basis and supporting instructions. Do not assume a liquid version of every powder is available or directly interchangeable.

Verify the usable stock and delivered mass
Confirm the proposed inversion or dilution arrangement, water requirements and any maturation specified for the code. Check the installed equipment against those instructions. A pump moving the commercial product does not prove that usable polymer reaches the application point.
Measure actual commercial delivery. Volume-to-mass comparison requires the applicable density and units; active-mass comparison requires a documented fraction. Do not treat a nominal pump setting or an unexplained solids percentage as sufficient conversion evidence.
Keep commercial comparisons conditional
Compare consumption only across runs meeting the same process requirement. Include practical preparation and handling differences explicitly. A shorter preparation step does not prove an operating saving if capture, liquid quality or cake handling deteriorates.
Use the active-basis review and the powder/emulsion decision to retain those differences. Ask for the actual container, storage guidance and order-specific availability before agreeing supply. A successful candidate still needs its production identity and receipt documents confirmed.
